Amsterdam Schiphol welcomed 7.7% more travellers last year than it did in 2016, handling a total of 68.4 million passengers during 2017.
The Dutch hub also reported an annual upturn in aircraft movements and cargo volumes, handlling 496,747 flights (+3.7%) and 1.75 million tonnes of freight (+5.4%) respectively.
Its airline customers served 326 destinations across the globe from Amsterdam last year, four more than in 2016.
Operator, the Royal Schiphol Group, also reports that passenger numbers at Eindhoven and Rotterdam The Hague airports in the Netherlands also enjoyed traffic growth, throughput in Eindhoven soaring by 19.4% to 5.7 million and in Rotterdam by 5.3% to 1.7 million in 2017.
It expects to release the full results for all its airports with the publication of financial statements on February 16th.
